I had a mixed experience at Everett Hickory Used Car Sales. On the positive side, working with Parker in sales was fantastic—he was energetic, patient, helpful, and made the buying process smooth and easy. ​However, vehicle preparation and customer follow-through fell far short. Because the vehicle had only been on the lot for about an hour before I bought it, it hadn't gone through a full inspection or detail. When I pointed out several issues—an engine tick, a blinker warning light, no sound from the radio, a noisy AC fan, tires with under 1/8" tread, and a dirty interior—I was assured everything would be handled. ​Once it was determined it needed lifters, I left the vehicle with their shop for two full weeks while I was out of town to give them plenty of time to fix everything properly. When I picked it up, only the lifters were replaced and the floor/seats given a quick vacuum—the stains remained, and the radio, blinker warning, and AC fan noise were left untouched. ​When I called Parker to let him know, I got no response. I waited 24 hours and called the manager to explain everything. I asked if he wanted my number so he could follow up with a resolution, but he declined, saying he would just talk to Parker, and never followed back up with me. While they quickly fixed the radio on a subsequent stop, the AC fan noise and blinker warning light remain unresolved. ​Parker was great during the sale, but having a vehicle for two weeks and then dismissing management follow-up leaves a lot to be desired in customer service. ​Option 2: Direct & Focused on

Very rarely do I leave a review. When a business such as Everett Chevrolet conducts business the way they do. It deserves taking time to write a good review. Rarely does anyone take time out of their day to write something nice about a business. It’s always bad reviews. However I have nothing bad to say about them. From the start of the day I was greeted with a smile in the service lane. Ashley Curtis was a fantastic service writer, I even received a video on the multipoint inspection of my car. It helps you really build trust with a company when they are willing to show you what’s wrong your vehicle. I then left the service drive and spoke with Steve Snyder about a possible trade in for a new Sierra 1500. Steve was very helpful from start to finish, helped me narrow down what I was looking for without being pushy! I was then greeted by another manager who I don’t remember his name. He was super welcoming and thanked us for just stoping in today. We then met David Brailsford, and Stephen marsh both were extremely helpful and nice. Overall if anyone is looking for a place to service their vehicle, or to possibly purchase a vehicle. I can truly say that when I think of a “one stop” shop Everett Chevrolet of hickory comes to mind. Thank you to the Everett team for making us feel like more than a number, and more like family.
