December 13th, 2024 by

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox gets a complete redesign for the new model year with a refreshed, modern style. The updated exterior of the compact SUV will turn heads all over town with its three available trims, while the revamped interior provides unparalleled comfort. Explore this model today at Mauer Main Chevrolet.

Power and Drivetrain

For 2025, the turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine of the Chevrolet Equinox is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission versus the previous six-speed automatic version in the all-wheel drive model. The front-wheel drive configuration now features a continuously variable transmission. Either way, you will enjoy seamless, smooth shifting. A new Active trim with slightly increased off-road capability is also available.

Elevated Technology and Interior Functionality

An 11-inch digital instrument cluster is now complemented by a larger 11.3-inch central infotainment screen instead of the previous 7-inch display. Of course, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are still standard across the lineup. The spacious interior is more comfortable and features extra storage space via the center console to accommodate smaller items.

More Safety and Driver Assist Features

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox comes with more standard safety and driver assist amenities than ever, including:

  • Automated emergency braking
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Lane departure warning and lane-keeping assist

Other standard features include forward collision alert and front pedestrian and bicyclist braking. Traffic sign recognition, HD surround vision, and rear pedestrian alert are available options.
